USA coast to coast stage 38 Victor NY to Syracuse NY
139KM, 945M climbed, 5 hours 26 minutes
Total 4,988KM, 29,263M climbed, 202 hours 38 minutes
Today we headed for the northern most point of our trip in Syracuse.
The weather was great again today although a bit overcast at times. Our first rest stop was right by Seneca lake which is one of the Finger lakes which are a group of 11 long narrow lakes in northern New York State.
Today had an element of home about passing through towns called Manchester and Liverpool and also a village named Waterloo.
For some of the last miles we followed the Erie canal which runs between the Hudson River and Lake Erie and is the longest artificial waterway in North America.
We now have just 5 cycling days and 336 miles left until we reach Revere Beach in Boston.
